pray with and for your child and their teacher

Our educators love the Lord and they love your child. We want their experience here with us to be as enjoyable and enriching as possible. One way to ensure this is to pray with your child and for them. Also, pray for your child’s teacher, their wisdom and love toward your child as well as their personal lives.

schedule a visit with your child

Before your child’s start date, bring them by to tour the facility, meet their teachers and familiarize themselves with their new environment. We have found that the more familiar the child is with the facility, the easier the transition on their first day.

communication is key

It is important to remember that while separation for children can be difficult, messages of reassurance can help divert many of those insecurities. Below are links to some of our favorite books that helps with this specific topic.

“I’ll Always Come Back” by Steve Metzger

“The Kissing Hand” by Audrey Penn

Routine, ROutine, Routine

One thing that can make transition difficult is when a child comes in to a new routine that doesn’t mirror their current daily activities. Once enrolled you will receive a schedule specific to your child’s classroom we ask that you help merge your child’s routine with this schedule as much as possible to make their transition seamless.
